[cisco-voip] 3700 vs 3800 for SRST router

Anywhere between 250 and 400 users. There are plans for expansion after the migration of this remote site, so we want to make sure we are ready for it. After they see the cost, they may say that the expansion does not require SRST. ;)

So the 3800 series are newer boxes then?

  Lelio,

I would stick to the newer ISR models (2800, 3800) if possible. I now strictly buy these and have been pretty happy with them? How many SRST users do you need to support?

Just wondering what the main difference between the 3700 and 3800 series routers are. We're looking for a SRST device that will also have some T1 trunks and perhaps some analog FXO ports as well. I know that the different models within each series have different maximum supported devices, it's likely I'll either get a 3845 or 3745 in order to get the SRST density I need.
