[cisco-voip] Attendant Console online/offline

I have attendant console installed on a few different receptionists PCs
and it doesn't seem to matter if it is in the online or offline state.
Both ways it seems to have the same functionality.  What am I missing
with this?  Is there a setting in call manager that I am missing?
