You can plug a cheap analog phone into that VG224 and after the same x minutes get disconnected? Verify you can reproduce the problem.

Open a TAC case, sounds like you need some debugs, SDL traces, takes -jason

Subject: [cisco-voip] VG224 / SCCP / Modem

Question:

I have a client who is using a VG224 that is configured to use SCCP on CCM 4.1. The majority of the ports are used for modems but there are devices that need skinny features as well. The problem is the modem calls fail after a random amount of time. It could be anywhere from 5 - 30 minutes. That same modem plugged directly into a 1FB will have no reliability issues.

I have searched Cisco's website and their forums looking for some configuration guidelines for modem usage and found nothing. Does anyone have any advice to offer?

Thanks,
Jeff Anderson
