Hi Scott
What OS version were you running before you applied this service
release?
This service release only applied to OS version 2000.4.2 release train.
(We're running OS version 2000.2.7 (IPCC express 3.0(3a), CCM 3.3.(3)
sr4a - so this service release doesn't apply, and won't be installed.)
Taken from release notes, see the Caution notes:
Operating System Upgrade Service Release 2000.4.2sr7a
(win-OS-Upgrade-K9.2000-4-2sr7a.exe)
Release date: 09 June 2006
Document Revision 2
Microsoft provides monthly releases of security hotfixes on the 2nd
Tuesday of each month. Cisco's monthly OS Service Release is scheduled
to post on the 3rd Tuesday of each month.
Cisco will continue to test and release Microsoft hotfixes that meet our
criteria for Critical hotfixes in 1 business day. Any applicable
critical hotfix released by Microsoft will be added to the Cisco IP
Telephony Operating System, SQL Server, Security Updates
<http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/voice/c_callmg/osbios.h
tm> document with and explanation about whether or not it is critical
for Cisco IP Telephony servers and when it will be released by Cisco.
Caution: Do not apply this service release with OS version 2000.2.7,
2000.4.1 or previous OS release trains. This service release is only
compatible with the OS 2000.4.2 release train. You should apply this
service release to all servers in your cluster. This installation
causes call-processing interruptions and requires a reboot. Close all
programs before proceeding including Internet Explorer to avoid
conflicts with the software being installed and/or upgraded.

I've referred to this document in the past. It seems to be the
same file name all the time since everytime I go back, it's always
updated. This one seems to be updated June 12, 2006. sr7a does not seem
to be on the list. :(

I have IPCCx 4.0.1sr1build 55. I upgraded my CM's and
IPCCx to OS ver 4.2.sr7a.
This morning when I came in the agents could not log in.
Opened a TAC case and they had me move the CRS 3.5 license files out and
then agents could log in. (the Licensing and resource manager service
failed type error)
Now I'm dealing with the supervisors can select a team.
Any idea how to fix it? The Supervisors were all removed from the teams
so I added them back and clicked update, but I'm still having the same
problem. This CM and IPCCx is integrated with AD 2003.
TAC says that 4.2.sr7a is not supported on IPCCx. I'm
trying to find anywhere it says this other then the metrix. No note of
this is in the release notes I could find.
Thanks
Scott
