Sorry about the Avaya thing. Is this related to Messenger Library?

Ah!~ scratch my suggestion about the SRND for callmanager then
:) It might still have some tidbits on QoS and switches in there but its
mostly relating to callmanager.

The Switches are 3500XLs... It is an Avaya system, and
call managing will be handled by that and forgive my ignorance, but what
is A VGW? Voice Gateway?

If it is a Voice Gateway, then we're still awaiting that
to come in, we just ordered that last week.. but I was asked to see what
would be needed to get the network ready for IP Phones

Subject: [cisco-voip] Basic VOIP Setup Needs

			Hi all,

I'm wondering what basics are needed for
allowing IP Phones access on a Cisco Switch network... We are looking
at implementing some IP Phones.

I'm assuming that a Dedicated VLAN for the IP
Phones, use of Native VLAN for non-tagged packets and a DHCP server are
needed... but I'm not sure what else is needed.

If anybody has a good source for some basic
information on basic VOIP setup would be greatly appreciated.

			Thanks

			Wayne
