So why not run the phone at 100, and the PC port at 10/half?

Client has some PCs that for some reason have to run at 10/half and they
will be sitting behind the phones. I had the same question myself.

With that all being said, Why would you run a IP Phone at half, let
alone 10 half?

There is a bug related to this when using 10M Full mode: CSCdz65458.
Maybe it is the 10M that is messing you up. Check it out.

Anyone have an idea why a 4507R switch with a WS-X4148-RJ45V line card
might have a problem supplying inline power to a 7940G while in 10M/Half
duplex mode? Works fine with 100M/Full.

Thanks,

Jason
