[cisco-voip] MGCP issue on 12.3(17a) with FXO port - not on older 12.3(9)b

Anyone ran across this before?

Got a older 2621 router with FXOs and had to update
for a IPX bug and old IOS was 12.3(9b) mainline. Went
to latest 12.3, 12.3(17a) and now have this MGCP and
FXO port issue that is causing the FXO port for paging
to unregister frequently throughout the day. This
issue did not occur until the IOS update to 12.3(17a).

Debugs show the gateway sending back a MGCP 502
(endpoint not available) back to CCM after CCM sends
CRCX. This happens after a call is placed fine and
when they go to make another paging call it
unregisters and fails.

So 500 series errors are permanent errors and once CCM
unregisters them the endpoint needs to be manually
reset to come back in use until the issue happens
again.

Dilema is 12.3(17a) was latest IOS available for this
series router at time. Now 12.3(18) is out but I did
bug searches and looked over release notes and can't
find anything that matches the symptons.

Reverted port to H323 for now but want to stick with
MGCP so all sites are same for most part.

Thanks
