[cisco-voip] Unity MWI after Exchange restart

I think at Ciptug they said anytime you reboot exchange you need to
reboot Unity (or this service I can't remember).

The way Unity works (and again this is by memory), is it logs into each
and every email box.  Then unity knows when there is new V-M.  If the
exchange reboots unity doesn't know to re-log back into each account and
there for doesn't know about the new VM in the mailbox and doesn't send
/ receive notification to turn it on or off.

I want to know which service logs back into each user's mailbox.

Officially no service restart should be needed.  UMR should see the  
Exchange server go offline and come back.  When it comes back UMR  
should tell Notifier to re-register for mapi notifications.

description of: MWI Resynchronization.  Check the box and click the

I was just asked but I have forgotten the answer.



If you're running Unity UM and you reboot your Exchange server.  The  
MWI lights get screwed up, due to the logging in of the mailboxes by  
unity.  What service can you restart to get unity logged back into  
the mailboxes so the MWI works again?
