[cisco-voip] non-G.729 VC Unit to 7985 (G.729)

Is there any way to make a low-audio-bandwidth video call between a device
that can only handle G.711, G.722, and G.728 and a Cisco 7985 IP Phone
(which can only handle G.711, G.722, and G.729)?  I have tried using a 2851
as a transcoder but the call completes as a voice call only.

 

Is my only solution to use an MCU?
