[cisco-voip] Conference with G.711 and G.729

Hi all
we run a CM 4.2(3) and have some phones wih G729 and some phones with G711. It
is not possible to set up a conference between G729 and G711 phones.
What do I need if I want to enable conferences between G711 and G729 phones?

Cisco writes about transcoders, but as it seems all of them are hardware based.
So if I understand that right: the CallManger itself is not able to do the
transcoding work.
