Yes, but SIP for Cisco IP Phones is really dumb.

I heard it straight from the Cisco developers themselves... they said
they will never be able to achieve feature parity between SIP and
SCCP.

So, why on earth would anyone run a Cisco 7971 on CallManager with
SIP? I can only presume because they hate the touch screen on their
phone...
