[cisco-voip] Phones not acception SD's

That's also a workaround for both of these bugs :)

The root cause is changing the name of any server in System->Cisco
Unified CUCM. In the case of CSCsg22215 this change isn't passed
down to the server so the query for speed dials fails. If you are
running a version with the fix for CSCsg22215 then the change is
passed to all servers (instead of just the one that was changed)
which breaks every server other than the one you changed the name of.

The case I had resulted from a customer preparing to add two new
subscribers to the cluster. They were added to System->Server and we
suspect the name of one of them was fatfingered. When this was
corrected it broke the speed dials for the other servers.

CSCso62662 will the full fix and should be in ES patches available
starting today for 5.1(3) (I hope).

I fixed it with a quick stop and start of the Callmanager service.
Thanks for help.

What version of CUCM?

If you look at a detailed CCM trace of a phone registering (that
doesn't get any speed dials) and search for 'DbDnSpeedDial_cmvw' you
should see a line like this.
04/10/2008 09:40:10.651 CCM|DB: SQL1[select * from
DbDnSpeedDial_cmvw WHERE tkDeviceProfile = 0 AND my_lower(name) =
my_lower('CIPC-rratliff') AND my_lower(CMName) = my_lower('rratliff-
server') ORDER BY speedDialIndex]

The important part of this line is the 'my_lower('rratliff-server')'
part. This should correspond to the hostname of the server that you
gathered the trace from. My guess is that it won't match which means
you are either hitting CSCsg22215 or CSCso62662.

Guys,

I have a problem. Normally I setup a Phone Button template on 7961
phones, Line, Line SD, Line, SD, SD. It always worked well. I’m at a
customer, where I have done the same a few months ago, and it worked
well. This morning users are complaining the Speed dial(SD) on their
phones. I tried a few things now as well, but are not able to get it
fixed. I even tried hard coding a phone, but it only display the
“line” fields. If I look at the profile, it accepts all my entries,
but it is strangely not accepting any SD’s. Can anyone help here?
