Windows 2003 in VMware for AVVID is way more than a reg hack.

I found an iso on a "peer-to-peer" file sharing network that took the
2003.2.1 and modified the vbs script to make the installer think the
hardware was a 7816. Works in and out of VMware.

I think the name of the "peer-to-peer" file share network had something
to do with pirates or something...... :)

I am still working on a reg hack for 2k3 so I can install IPCC 5 for
