I was referring to misleading achievement. There is no problem listing
individual exams.

But isn't the question mentioning the name of the exam, NOT the name of
the cert?

That does kinda go towards the "CCIE written" folks..

And I don't know that it implies any desire to mislead or misinform,
such that you shouldn't hire someone based on that.

Misinforming or misleading is telling someone WRONG information --- like
putting the name of the certification before passing ALL exams.

Putting the name of the EXAM is not the same as putting the name of the
cert, nor should anyone fail to realise the difference.

while I wouldn't put that on a business card or _probably_ not a resume,
I would have NO PROBLEM telling an interviewer that I'd passed this and
that exam and was "on my way"

That's called "being proactive about your career" if you're an optimist
and perhaps "misrepresentation" only if you're a pessimist.

Ohhhhh...I misunderstood the question. If you put CCVP next to your name
by only passing the CVOICE, you're a cretin.

Honestly, I think this really goes into ethics. Realistically, you
should not put any certification designation until you have fully
achieved that certification. If someone listed a half-done
certification on their resume as if they had achieved it, I sure as heck
wouldn't hire them. If they will list that, what else can you believe
on their resume?

Is it considered acceptable when you pass one of the CCVP exams, (ie..
CVOICE), that you could put that designation by your name?
