This comes from the built in iLO interface that HP builds into the machines that Cisco built on. This is an OOB, Ethernet based, management interface and really shouldn't impact things unless it's reporting something bad and you're not watching it.

Subject: [cisco-voip] Hardware Failure UCM 6.11a

We up graded from CM4.1.3 to UCM 6.01a in December and last month upgraded to UCM 6.1.1a.
Every so often we get this failure:

At Tue Apr 22 19:57:09 PDT 2008 on node 10.52.100.3, the following HardwareFailure events generated: hwStringMatch - hpasmxld[5949]: Failed GET SENSOR READING, sensor 9 hwStringMatch - hpasmxld[5949]: iLO 2 Communications Error - Attempting synchronization!

And its not the same call manager each time, we have three in this cluster.
Now, it has happen about 5 times since upgrading to 6.1.1a.
Thanks for any help / ideas.
