I finally figured out what it was. The 2nd line had a device profile associated with it (ADP). Once I removed the device profile it worked great.

Subject: Attendant Console - Shared Lines

We just setup the attendant console and added about 8 operators. All but one have worked great. The one that does not work has a shared line. Her lines go as follows:

8562 - Personal Line

7563 - Shared Line - Her Boss

199012 - Operator Line

199013 - Operator Line

199014 - Operator Line

199015 - Operator Line

When she attempts to login to the console with Line 2 on her phone it gives us an error message that says: One ore more lines on your phone are shared. Shared lines are supported.

We take off the shared line and she is able to login just fine. We have the hunt list on her phone to start with Line 3 (unlike other phones in the list which start with line 2). Since we can just keep taking off the shared line when it is her time to cover the phones we need straight answer.

On another CM we have in our enterprise we have operators that have side cars and 3 or 4 shared lines on their phone in addition to having the operator lines. Tac says shared lines are not possible but we are currently doing it in another office so am unsure why this one is not working. Here is part of the "restrictions" he gave me - Cisco CallManager Attendant Console Server does not route calls to an instance of a shared line on attendant phone if any other instances of the shared line are in use.

Any ideas before I got to her boss and say it just isn't possible - find someone else?
