[cisco-voip] Need a Intercom/Paging solution.

Do you want intercom, or do you want paging? If you want intercom (two-way communication with individual sets), then the second-line-auto-answer should work fine.

If you want paging (one-way communication to many), then I would just use a regular ol' telephone paging system (Bogen, etc.) and connect it to an analog port. I've used InformaCast and IPsession -- both are fairly costly and both left me pretty unimpressed. Now I just use Bogen systems hanging off an FXO port. It's way easier, works way more reliably, and is way cheaper.

Consider the TAMB (http://www.bogen.com/products/telephonepaging/) paired with a suitable paging amplifier.

I was thinking of making a 2nd line for all my IP Phones at the site and auto answer but CCM does not support that.
I am now thinking of purchasing half a dozen small ceiling mount speakers, a decent Amplifier and then get an IP Phone, identify which pins on the 'headset port' are for the speaker (back of the phone), wire up a RCA socket and hook that into my Amp.
