[cisco-voip] AD LDAP to CUCM6.1.2 matching attribute

I was afraid of that. Along those lines could I use BAT to update the USERID field? I would think that is what BAT uses to match the account and this would not work. Or could it do so by extension? I've exported the users and downloaded the bat.xlt file. Could I populate the Users worksheet in the xlt with my exported data and then under the Change Users worksheet update the UserIDs and upload the changes like that or would it create all new accounts?

DirSync will check AD for each of those subscribers and notice they do not exist and mark each for deletion. After the next garbage collection period, they will be deleted.

I would rename them to match their AD accounts prior to the integration with AD.

We didn't integrate with AD in the old 4.1.3 days and are now looking to. When we created the User IDs in CUCM we used users first initial, last name but in AD we are using their full first and last name. Will DirSync still try to match or do these fields have to be exact. I guess my main concern is if new user accounts need to be created for everyone I will lose all of my device associations. Has anyone had a similar situation?
