Can Unity speak to multiple exchange domains ?

I have inherited a site that uses Unity in a multi tenant fashion, but
only one exchange with the GAL open to everyone.

I do not want to 'hack' exchange to fix this issue. Rather I would like
to try and virtualize 20 different exchange domains, and only have one
unity box that talks to all the virtual box's
