[cisco-voip] FXO battery sensing

I would have sworn that a number of years ago Cisco supported sensing 
circuit disconnect on FXO loop-start interfaces by sensing the absence 
of battery on the pair. Am I dreaming?
I am trying to find a way to put an FXO out of service when the line to 
the CO is cut.
