first off I believe you have to turn off ECM and SG3 to even begin thinking you'll have a chance faxing with analog ports.

i was having some issues and the TAC told me to turn these settings on/off on my VG224:

!
voice service voip
 modem passthrough nse codec g711ulaw
!
no ccm-manager fax protocol cisco
!
mgcp
mgcp modem passthrough voip mode nse
mgcp fax t38 inhibit
!

i'm running passthrough and skinny on vg224, passthrough and mgcp on gateway. we also had to disable redundancy on our 6608s.

Our current faxes works as ECM and they can send faxes fine, but new faxes work as G3 but they keep dropping the connection.

Is there something that we have to set in Call manager, Gateways, Or Routers??

Has anyone also implemented tail end hop off for faxes?

  Thanks for the help.
