Your partner Exchange server should be either the Virtual Exchange server
in the cluster or an Exchange 2007 server outside the cluster.

Yes it is the first Unity server in on the domain and the site.

I have rebooted the server several times, with no luck.

Can it have something to do with Exchange 2007 being on a cluster ?

Is this the first Unity server these users have been homed to? There is an
issue when moving mailboxes from one Unity server to the other that shows
this exact same symptom. The workaround is to reboot the Unity server.

I checked that, but not the problem. I made sure there were at least a few
messages in the inbox as unread.

Thanks for the help

Definitely the inbox.

I've seen that one before as one of my clients had outlook rules moving al
new mail to folders.

Thanks

Ian

Are you sure it's the Exchange Inbox and not some sub-folder Outlook is
automatically moving the message to? AFAIK Unity only looks at messages
in the Inbox.

I have checked, thanks James.

All the users inherit and I can see the rights on them.

I checked this when I couldn't import one of the users. It didn't have the
inherit permissions tick on.

Any other ideas guys?

What bothers me is that I don't get any event errors and the whole system
looks normal exept, from the phone I don't get MWI's and trying to
retrieve messages it sais there are none.

Hello,

Make sure that the users are inheriting the rights from their respective
OUs in AD.

Thanks,

Hi all

I installed Unity 5 UM with Exchange 2007 running on a cluster. Exchange
SP1 installed.

Everything went ok and Unity is now running with no errors in the event
log. I have imported over 100 users from exchange with no problems. When I
leave a message, the user gets the VM in his outlook inbox, but nothing
happens on the phone. I checked Unity and it is not passing the MWI-on
digits to the CCM. Dialling the MWI-on and off numbers on the phone turns
it on and off.

While there are unread VM message is in the outlook inbox, I press the
messages button on the phone to access VM and it replies, saying there are
no voice messages.

I used the MBXsuite tool. Attached is the outcome. It doesn't give any
errors in the log file.

I cannot find TABLE_ROW_ADDED or TABLE_ROW_MODIFIED in the file.

I have followed my exact same steps as I have done before with the same
type of installation. In that installation everything worked fine.

I downloaded the latest Permissions Wizard and it ran with no issues. I
gave the Unity accounts specific Send-as Receive-as rights.

Any ideas ?

Thanks

Ian
