[cisco-voip] Nokia e61i SIP configuration

Michael,

For my application I was able to use a SIM card from AT&T for the cellular service and was also able to configure the Nokia e61i as both a SCCP and SIP phone on the 6.1 CUCM and as SCCP on a CM 4.1 cluster.

The SCCP configuration requires a license which I believe we obtained thru Nokia (try https://support/nokia.com/license)

Michael,

That's just FUD. The Nokia E61i, as with most Nokia handsets, are
standardized GSM devices and will work on any 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
GSM carrier. Which is to say that they are completely compatible
with all North American GSM providers (850/1900) as well as European
networks (900/1800).

these work for? I was told AT&T, but when I spoke to a rep, they said
that these phones will not work with any U.S. carriers. I would like to
add a few to my call manager, but don't want to unless they work with a
U.S. carrier. Please let me know who you are using.
