[cisco-voip] Unity Delayed Delivery Voicemails

Thanks everyone.  Let me add that everyone keeps talking about Exchange.
Are we talking about the Exchange that is part of Unity?  We don't use an
Exchange Email server.  But I understand that Unity uses a small version of
Exchange to hold and deliver Voicemails.

I have checked the Event Viewers on both machines, there seems to be no big
breaks of time where a server was down or being rebooted.  And since I am in
charge of VOIP as well as the network and all Msoft stuff, it would have
been me doing patching, and that was not the case.  I will look at turning
on Exchange Message Tracking on Unity.

When I run a report showing all devices in CCM, I see 2 devices devoted to
Message Waiting, so I assume those are the MWIs for the phones.  We have
about 60 phones here.  Is 2 MWIs enough?

I love this statement:  "If it shows delivery at the proper time, then it
might be time to start confirming people's stories."  Stories being the
operative word there....how much time have I wasted chasing down dropped
emails that *my mailserver* dropped, when in fact the user never sent them.
But my users can log into AIM, so they are network experts and I don't know
squat.  Oh Happy days!

I will keep digging.  Let me know if 2 MWIs are enough.  It's all I can
think of right now!  I am also seeing timeserver issues like this one:

"Because of repeated network problems, the time service has not been able to
find a domain controller to synchronize with for a long time. To reduce
network traffic, the time service will wait 960 minutes before trying again.
No synchronization will take place during this interval, even if network
connectivity is restored. Accumulated time errors may cause certain network
operations to fail. To tell the time service that network connectivity has
been restored and that it should resynchronize, execute "w32tm /s" from the
command line. "

I have been runnning a little freebie called "Atomic Clock" but due to the
recent DST changes, I disabled it.  Unity does have the right time, same
time as CCM and all the servers.  Anything there?
