[cisco-voip] Data T1 and PRI on same VWIC Card - Can it be done?

I've done this multiple times. However I have started to see clocking
problems when doing this. I have started using the clock source
"independent" command in these situations now and it seems to solve the
problem.

Thanks,

I have done this, without any issues. Just be sure if you have CCM
MANAGER CONFIG turned on in the router's IOS that you don't accidentally
configure the 2nd port in the callmanager GUI or it might overwrite the
IOS config you built on the data T1.

You will need the "network-clock-select 1 t1 0/2/1" (assuming 0/2/1 is
the PRI ) to clock the PRI off the telco, and then you can set the data
T1 to either provide or accept a clock as you wish.

Stupid question maybe - but was never sure if it could be done...Can I
put a data t1 and pri on the same VWIC-2MFT-T1. Currently T1 0/2/0 is
being occupied with by the data t1. To save money on hardware they want
to use the second port on that card (T1 0/2/1) for the PRI. Will there
be an issue with one being a channel group vs a pri-group? Also what
about the network clock set command. If I only apply that command to the
interface T1 0/2/1 interface I should be OK?

Thanks for any suggestions you may be able to give!
