Run a 'deb voip dialpeer' and see what your outbound dialpeer (if any)
is being matched when you try to dial out directly. If you have a
destination pattern of .T you should be able to dial out direclty with
no prefix. Do you have any num-exp entries configured?

Subject: [cisco-voip] CME call routing question - no prefix for
ouotboundcalls

Hi,

Have a 1760 with CME 4.1 running on IOS 12.4(15)T5. This has a 7921 and
7965 connected to it.

The device has a single operation FXO for inbound calls.

Basically I want all received calls to be sent to both phones (this
works as is). I would prefer the two phones to be on separate extensions
e.g. 1001 and 1002.

The problem I have is that I want to be able to dial out without using a
prefix from any of the phones AND be able to dial each extension for
internal calls between the 7921 and the 7965. This is almost working
except for making outbound calls without using a prefix (get a busy
tone).

I have a dial-peer voice 1 pots setup with a destination -pattern of .T.
This worked previously when I only had 1 phone but I have since upgraded
the IOS etc to support the 7965.

Inbound calls work fine using a connection plar of 1001.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Chris.
