[cisco-voip] Internal Masking

Jan,

The easiest way to handle this would be to restrict calling party
information for outbound calls and restrict connected party information
for inbound calls to the desk.

Helpdesk phone is placed in Helpdesk_CSS

Inside Helpdesk_CSS there is a partition containing a translation that
is used to reach other partitions.

That translation is then configured to restrict calling party info.

On the flipside, you'll mask the calls coming from all the other
internal extensions into the helpdesk by using a translation that
reaches the helpdesk and restricting connected party info.

3rp.html#wp1051056 for more info on caller id.

Subject: [cisco-voip] Internal Masking

Hello we are using CCM 4.2 and i have been asked to provide an internal
number masking facility for the Helpdesk staff because they are getting
call back etc straight to their lines. Externally it works a treat
with the number masking option. Im sure there are people out there who
have the same problem in hiding numbers internally. Is there any way of
doing it without a VB script or do i have to create a CSS/partition
just for them?

I hope one of you egg spurts can help J
