My reason for going with hybrid on a recent roll out - better failure cases.
I'd rather do native, for the unified admin, but if the router part
crashes in native, the whole box dies or reloads. In hybrid, the switch
still runs and layer 3 can be rerouted via HSRP etc.
Also, the redundant sup failover is not as neat yet in native...
