Does anyone know a reason why one should not expect wire-speed GigE routing
of a Cat 6000 w/ the Supervisor 1A (2 GigE and MSFC on-board).
(supposedly capable of 15Mpps)
Is there a better price-point for full GigE routing in a single chassis
(say < $30k, maybe a 2621-type platform (2 port FE) but designed for GigE?)
The closest I could think of was a Vip 2/50 with two GigE interfaces but
that is guaranteed to not get anywhere near 400Mbit/s sustained.
Thanks in advance,
