I would to like hear experiences with GSR (12008/12/16 running IOS 12),
NetFlow export, CAR (commited-access-rate) and ACL(access-control-list)
processing...
- Does CAR processing runs smoothly or it poses serious performance hits on
the line cards ? Any flaws ?
- Does ACL processing runs smoothly or it poses serious performance hits on
the line cards ? Any flaws ?
- Does NetFlow accounting and export runs smoothly or it poses serious
performance hits on the line cards or management processor ? Any flaws ?
- In GSR NetFlow export, ACL denied packets are properly included (exported
with dest ifindex=0) ?

If ACL size matters, ACLs of up to 200 lines (medium-sized ?) are supposed
to be in place. Such ACL sizes, on 7500 platform, goes equally well with CEF
or with FlowCEF.
