But ifIndex's may get reassigned after a reboot, when things are re-done
in hardware infterfaces first, in order, then software interfaces...

Also, unless Cisco has seen the error of their ways and relented, there
are no ifTable entries for ISL/dotQ sub-interfaces, and I'm not sure
there a way to get at the equivlanet of "show vlan".
