If you don't want your LSA type 3 to get into it - then yes. If you don't
care - then just configure it as a normal area. (That is only if EX routes
don't tax your routers too much because they are few)

You don't need to do anything - ABR will see that area is nssa and would
automatically convert type 7 into type 5 lsa's. (You can still filter and/or
aggregate some of the type 7 lsa's on your ABR before they get converted,
though).
