You may have a look at CastleRock's SNMPc 5.0. (http://www.castlerock.com).
They have a 30-day trial version for download. The other option you can
safely go for is Tivoli NetView (http://www.tivili.com). It's a very nice NNM
with a very nice modular pricing.

Cisco Works 5 isn't a very good choice. ;) Cisco LAN management solution is
very nice indeed, but it does not provide for "network monitoring" - it plugs
into an external NNM, such as HP OpenView or Tivoli NetView (interface into
SNMPc seem to have vanished because SNMPc is somewhat stale in its
development).

So to sum it up:

Get a trial copy of SNMPc, have a look. If you don't like it, go and buy
NetView. ;) (That is, if you're ready to spend money on NNM). Otherwise, look
around on caida.org, as been suggested.
