Good evening,
We've had a situation arise where we have a multi-t1 office that is
migrating off of their cisco to a Bay ARN. According to bay's
documentation the only way to setup multiple t1s is via
multilink. Obviously multilink can be setup on the cisco, but cisco's
documentation points to the fact that takes a hit on the cpu unless dCEF
is enabled on the interfaces. In light of all the problems with cef on
the MCt3 i'm hesitent to enable that.
Does anyone have any experience with either the cpu hit that unCEFed
multilink takes or if i'm wrong in my recollection that dCEF has problems
on the mct3? I know standard cef still has issues with mct3es but cant
recall about distributed.
The cisco on our side is a 7507, 12.09S, and a pamc2t3+ on a vip2-50.
Thanks for your assistance,
andy
