    Dear Cisco-NSPs,

    after very bad dCEF experiences with 12.0(13)S (as reported to the list
    on Oct23) and opening some TAC cases we finally got the recommendation
    to upgrade to 12.0(13.5)S or higher.

    This morning we upgraded our

    Cisco7507/RSP4 with
            4* VIP2/50 (all with 128DRAM/8SRAM)
        2* PA-1FEISL
        2* PA-2FEISL (HWrev 1.02 !)
        2* PA-A3-OC3-MM (HWrev 2.00 !)

    to 12.0(13.6)S2
        ============

    AND turned on "ip cef distributed". Still sitting here shivering with
    fingers crossed. At least it's the first time I'm having dCEF running
    on this box for more than three hours. CPU load is down to ~3% (usually
    far beyond 50%).

    I'll keep the list updated ...

    Cheers, and please, knock on every piece of wood you can find as you are
    reading this ;-)

    CP
