It basically refers to a failed attemt to restart a DMA controller
chip on the port adapter. The particular chip appears to be used on
PA-nH and PA-nT3 cards. The error is most likely to appear on a 72xx
or VXR that is "overbooked" in terms of installed cards vs. backplane
bandwidth, but has also been triggered by a variety of IOS bugs that
allow IOS to be distracted from servicing the PA for too long.
Usual workaround is to reboot the router or pop out the PA and
reinstall, but you should review your router config, both to make
sure that you're running relatively current IOS versions, and that
you've balanced high-bandwidth PA's between the left (slots 0,1,3,5)
and right (slots 2,4,6) PCI busses.
