simple question on %LINK-3-LOOPSTATUS

We have cisco 7206VXR with Channelized T3.
And when I tried to loop Z loc of this circuit, 2500 with adtran,
by t1 7 loopback remote line fdl ansi.
I got something like this...

%LINK-3-LOOPSTATUS: Interface Serial4/0/7:0, is looped toward the network

Something is wrong here, I am trying to loop remote not local.
Does it supposed to happen?

Am I missing something?
