Dear all:
This mail list is my search result of "Cisco Xylan 802.1Q",below is my question.

                         ________ _________
                         | host | | host |
                         |______| |_______|
                            | |
                            | |
                            | |
                            |mobile group 100 |group 1(vlan 100)
----------- |----------------| _/\_ |----------------|
| |802.1q trunk | switch | 802.1q | | | |
| 7513 |--------------| ibm 8274(xylan)|----------------< ATM >-------------|ibm 8274 (xylan)|
|_________| |----------------| |_ _| |-----------------
                                                              \/
Orginal Topo is that ibm 8274(xylan) connect to ibm 8260 (3com) and then connect to another 8274,because
first implement the 8274 doesn't support mobile group, so all vlan are belong to several group 's vlan.
But when I upgrade all code for 8274, now it support mobile group. So when I have the request connect a
cisco 7513 to this lan, 7513 's fastethernet configure with 802.1q sub-interface, 8274 support 802.1 tag.
when a host configure with mobile group 100 (ip add 10.1.1.1) but old vlan is group 1(vlan 100) (ip 10.1.1.x), I wonder does these two host can connect each other, have any idea for this, can 8274 map that
group to another group 's vlan.Because I didn't want rebuild old ibm 8274's vlan(so many vlans)
I think two way to archive this , but these two method wasn't professinal !

way I

|----| 802.1q trunk |-----------------------|
|7513|----------------|cisco 3524 |
|----| |-----------------------|
                              | |
                              | |
                              | |
                              |vlan1 |vlan2 ...N
                              | |
                            |-----------------|
                            | ibm 8274(xylan) |
                            |-----------------|
this method didn't use ibm 8274's 802.1q function, use cisco 's vlan, and because ibm 8274(xylan) 's vlan can based on ip address. so it work with old VLAN.

way II

|----| 802.1q trunk |---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
|7513|----------------|ibm 8274 |
|----| | |
                      | mobile mobile group group |
                      | group group vlan100 vlan120 |
                      |--| |---| |----| |----| |---| |----| |----| |----| |-----| |-----| |---| |-|
                                | | | |
                                | | | |
                                | | | |
                                |vlan1 |vlan2 ...N | |
                                | |__________________________| |
                                | |
                                |________________________________________________________|

this method didn't change current vlan policy , just add several mobile group(8274's 802.1q need mobile group), and use crosscover cable connect these port directly.
Any one once do this network configuration , I hope you can help me! Any idea is welcome!
