I'm not sure that HSRP is the right solution as your router still need to
have the 2 ethernet interface in the same subnet to establish the HSRP
bundle.
You could try to use the backup interface function from 1 to the other
In the case it is not running, I'm not sure you will find a solution to
your problem.
