Vinod,

Apart from others suggested, you could also try to put them into one bridge group, and create a BVI interface.

  Dear All,

In a Cisco 7206-VXR with two Ethernet ports (One avaialable on the NPE-300, & another as a module), Is it not possible to build system level redundancy by physically connecting both the ports on a single switch. I am unable to define both ports to be part of the same IP subnet. Is there any workaround for this.

  Kindly enlighten me

  With warm regards,
  Vinod.
