That's where the 3rd party vendors justify their markup on the
cisco-specific memory. I've had "right spec" generic fail in a
NPE-300, so you have to weigh your options.
---Just for the record, I have had Ci$co memory (premium paid, shipped directly, etc) fail in an NPE-300 also. Kingston's memory for Cisco units seems to work fine for everything we throw it at.
