It seems to accelerate good old ip accounting also. It least it says so:

maple#show ip flow acceleration
  Flow feature acceleration is enabled
    1 active features
    Slot 0: IP Accounting
        Active 24 Attaches 723538571 Detaches 723538547 config changes 146436

This is with 12.1(5) on a 7140.
