[nsp] RR Server Next-Hop-Self problem

Hi,
  An RR Server keeps the next-hop parameter unchanged.
However, on an RR server if I give the command ,
next-hop-self, the RR server changes the next-hop
parameter.
  Cisco documentation says that an RR server will
change the next-hop parameter for only EBGP routes and
not for internal routes. However, this is not the case
when I have checked this out in a lab scenario.
   Any clues as to why this is happenning ???
