Assuming 11.2 isn't required for hardware support, before backing into
11.1, enter 'downward-compatible-config 11.1' in global config and
review after reloading. We did this to switch from 11.2(9)P to
11.1(17)CC. Nothing broke upon reload and it's been chugging along
nicely for about 6 weeks.
