I have not been able to meet my simple requirement of DDR..
I have a cisco 2501 which should dial to my service provider terminal
server ( Livingstion PM) if it detects intereresting packets from any of
my workstations (line ping,telnet, browser application)
Great if somebody could help me provide the sample config and the
modem that I should use. I have done lot of reading but so far it did not
work.
My questions..
1. Does modem to be used must support v25 bis. It looks most of the
modems do not support it.
2. Can sync port of 2501 could be configured to connect modem to it
3. Looks like aync1 is supported in this box. . My reading says somehow I
can make use of async1 and aux port to meet my need..
