Jeremie,

Unfortunately the keyword "loopback" is misleading.

The router will actually use it's RID as the ldp transport address
if you configure "transport-address loopback" under
[edit protocols ldp].

Which is the same behavior you'd get if you didn't configure
"transport-address" at all.
