I have had to swap about 15 of these dam M20 PSU's because of the "fan fail
alarm". Its seems to be a problem with the earlier hardware revisions.
I wouldn't worry too much as I dont think the PSU is actually dead ... if
you do a "show chassis environment" you will probably see the temperature is
normal. Its more an pain to have to deal with the traps and syslogs.
Just be sure to get a maintenance window to do these swaps ... I have has a
few bad experiences with the routers rebooting for no good reason when doing
this "hot-swap".

Subject: M20 DC Power Supply Fail
Hello All,
We have 3 M20's with redundant DC power supply's.
One month ago we started to have major power supply fan alarm's in B
power supply. The failed power supply was replaced at both routers and after
a week the A power supply started to show the same alarm in both routers.
The equipment is installed in a controlled enviroment with stable
power(DC) and air conditioner.
Anybody else had some similar problem with Juniper Power Supply?
Daniel
