Jan,
lets see your routing protocol config. By default RIP is not set up, and
does not advertise other routes learned by RIP. RIP will listen for either
V1, V2, or both on a given interface, but this needs to be configured. Let
me know and I can help you out here!

Subject: Minimal configuration for routing between two ports
Hello all,
I am very sorry for this trivial questions.
I need to set up routing betwen two ports:
fe-1/1/0 {
unit 0 {
family inet {
address 192.168.1.143/24;
}
}
}
fe-1/1/1 {
unit 0 {
family inet {
address 192.168.111.1/24;
}
}
}
I have worstations with addresses 192.168.1.7 and 192.168.111.141 connected
to apropriate port.
I am able (for example) to ping from workstatin 192.168.1.7 to port
192.168.111.1, but it is not possible to ping from workstation 192.168.1.7
to second workstation 192.168.1.141.
I have tried to configure static routes, RIP, but nothing helps me.
Can anybody send me a list of things, which I should configure for routing
between these two ports?
Thank you very much, and again ... sorry for this trivial question.
