About ednog	English (USA)
The ednog mailing list is for technical discussion and coordination between network operators of educational institutions. General Guidelines List discussion should revolve around technical topics in educational network operations. The list is open to the public for both reading and posting. Discussion between participants on the list should be done in a courteous and professional manner. Use of this list to promote specific commercial vendors, products or services is not appropriate. To help promote coordination, communication and trust within and outside the list, participants should identity their real name and institution affiliation in their list postings. Additional Information ednog is not affiliated with any specific academic community such as Educause or Internet2 . If ednog is a community, it is a self organizing and operating one, independent from any parent oversight and coordination. Using ednog
To post a message to all the list members, send email to ednog@puck.nether.net. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to ednog
Subscribe to ednog by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
