The weird thing is that under chassis-mode a (the default) the iom2 should be up as well. All cards are backwards compatible with regards to chassis mode.

Try set it to chassis-mode b.

: This mode corresponds to scaling and feature set associated with iom-20g.

b

: This mode corresponds to scaling and feature set associated with iom-20g-b.

c

: This mode corresponds to scaling and feature set associated with iom2-20g.
d
: This mode corresponds to scaling and feature set associated with iom3-xp.


If the chassis mode is not explicitly provisioned in the configuration file, the chassis will come

up in chassis mode a by default.

Hi,

In alcatel 7750 ,  i have these 2 card types that needs to be UP.
iom-20g-b
iom2-20g

What should be the chassis mode for the above config to work.
we tries chassis-mode C, in which only iom2-20g works and iom-20g-b  fails to come up
with default  chassis mode only iom-20g-b  works amd iom2-20g  fails.
